Dog Harness Size Calculator
Choose a harness by chest girth, the measurement around the widest part of the ribcage. Weight is only a rough guide, because two dogs of the same weight can have very different chests.

How to measure a dog for a harness
- Chest: wrap a soft tape around the widest part of the ribcage, just behind the front legs.
- Neck: measure where a collar would sit.
- Check the fit: once the harness is on, two fingers should fit under each strap.
Who this harness is for
It is made for daily walks and light pulling. It is not a heavy-duty harness, so a dog that lunges hard needs a stronger model and help from a trainer.
Common questions
What if my dog is between two sizes?
Our sizes overlap. Choose the one where your dog’s chest sits closest to the middle of the range, so you have room to adjust both ways.
Should I go by weight or chest size?
Go by chest size. Weight only helps when you cannot measure your dog.
How tight should a dog harness be?
Two fingers should slide under each strap. If the harness shifts or rubs behind the front legs, adjust it.
